ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Gildan New Mexico Bowl and ESPN Regional Television (ERT), a subsidiary of ESPN, announced today an extension with the Mountain West Conference. The 12-member league will continue to provide one of its bowl-eligible teams to the Albuquerque-based college football bowl game for the next six years, as it has since the Bowl’s inception in 2006.

The Gildan New Mexico Bowl and ESPN Regional Television (ERT), a subsidiary of ESPN, announced today an agreement with Conference USA, in which a C-USA team will play in the Albuquerque, N.M. based game starting in 2014, pending approval by the NCAA licensing committee. The Gildan New Mexico Bowl will feature a regional selection from C-USA six times in the six-year deal.
